Apple has disclosed the top downloaded apps and games from its App Store as part of the “App Store Award 2023” as the year comes to a close.
It should be mentioned that there were just 500 apps available on the App Store when it launched in 2008. It has now greatly expanded to house over 1.8 million apps. Forty finalists were chosen from among them on the basis of new design, user experience, and technological innovation.
The company’s global App Store editors have now selected the fifteen App Store Award 2023 Winners.
Seeing how creators continue to create amazing games and apps that are changing the world is motivating. According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, this year’s winners “reflect the boundless potential of developers to bring their visions to life, creating apps and games with remarkable ingenuity, exceptional quality, and mission-driven creativity.”
